Project Overview
TISS Ltd, based in Blackpool, Lancashire, specialises in creating products to prevent fuel theft in the haulage industry. Their Tanksafe products save haulage companies hundreds of thousands of pounds each year in fuel theft worldwide.
The Problem
TISS was looking of ways to save on energy and reduce their carbon footprint whilst on a limited budget. Lighting House surveyed the head office and warehouse and recommended replacing the old dim fluorescent lighting. They discussed the best lighting options and provided an easy-to-understand report showing energy savings and return on investment (ROI) by switching to LED.
The Solution
Lighting House installed 148 LED panels (UGR 16, TPA rated) and 48 LED high bays in the warehouse. The energy savings from the project paid for all the cost in just under 9 months. TISS utilised the interest free financing option offered and avoided having to pay out any upfront costs.
